Have a great day! Case Study #154

I just LOVE Jennifer McGuire. I think she is so creatively talented and I love her online workshops too.  Case Study have her as their muse this month and I have joined in.  After a VERY RARE Friday night in, I usually collapse on the couch, but for some reason, I wasn't too pooped and started to play!
Seeing as I have NEARLY all the Hero Arts Shadow Inks....... I thought I'd put them to good use.

This card is so different to what I origianlly planned lol but  I like how it turned out.  I decided to use vellum with the sentiment as I wasn't sure It would've been bold enough on the card and I didn't want to block out the pattern with cardstock.

A practical gift

It's so nice to grab a card from my stash.  As much as I think I am organised, I am really not :(   I had a getaway with some friends recently and decided to make a few cards with the same design but mixed up the colours and sentiments.  I was happy with the results and I was going to gift them but I like them so much (and I've already used a few...) I kept them.  I even made a little box to house them too.  I will pop dimensions at the end of the post, I cannot remember where in the world I got them from (probably googled small boxes)

You will remember, this first one as my sample for Scrapbook Boutique's June Inspiration Challenge
With the rest, I decided on a design and colour and just followed with that theme.  I just love the background stamp. Although you could just mask any background stamp you like.  The secret is to
KEEP IT SIMPLE...
so they can be mass produced.
I also found if you die cut a lot in one go it is also a great time saver!
Most of these dies are Memory Box

Also the little box to house them would make the perfect gift!

ETA: ooops sorry forgot to add box details....

12x12  paper

CAS(E) this Sketch # 41

I love a quick card and I usually have a blank when I have to follow a sketch or colour scheme.... Unlike MOST people who use a challenge to get the creative juices flowing.

Different story today, Cas{e}this sketch #41 is a lovely simple design, and possibilities were endless. As I needed a quick card I went to my GO TO Piestra Die (I Love it)

thanks for popping in :)

Happy 20th No Longer a teenager...!

I teach children and adults to swim and I mainly do private lessons with special needs, which I really enjoy. This student has been with me for 6 years and she has made SO much progress. Totally loves the water and enjoys her lessons every week.
It was her birthday on Saturday and she was excited to no longer  be a teenager!

I have had these Papertrey Ink Numbers in my stash for a while and like they are quite big. I do have a few ranges (as you'd expect...) of Alphas and numbers and I do tend to go for the smaller ones as they are for cards with limited space but really liked having a play with the larger ones.
